This was a wonderful day of making memories with our little family and great friends. These little ones are natives of southern california so this day of sledding in South Lake Tahoe was a real treat. On this day my son learned that he has a great love for sledding. This was the highlight of the whole trip for him. And my daughter is just as gorgeous all bundled up on the sledding hill as she is anywhere. I truly loved all the smiles and laughter that day as they discovered the joy that only snow can bring. It was only made better by being able to enjoy this with great friends. They were likely laughing at our excitement for such a simple thing that dominates half their lives...the snow. They live there so they are quite accustomed to the snow and everything it brings. But perhaps all our excitement rekindled their joy for the white powder as well. Likely a little of both. In any case, this was a truly memorable day. And that's what it is all about...making memories.
